AD/R22/43 - Tail Rotor Blades - CANCELLED

What this does: This document officially cancels an earlier aviation safety rule about tail rotor blades on Robinson R22 helicopters.

The old rule required: Owners had to prove their tail rotor blades were either original parts installed at the factory (or during overhaul) or were genuine replacement parts bought directly from the manufacturer or an approved service centre.

What changed: As of 7 May 2009, this requirement no longer applies. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority decided this verification rule was no longer necessary for safety.
