AD/R22/11 - Clutch Shaft Plug Installation - Inspection - CANCELLED

What this is: This document cancels a previous aviation safety rule (Airworthiness Directive AD/R22/11) that required owners of certain helicopters to conduct a specific mechanical inspection.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Robinson R22 series helicopters who were previously subject to the inspection requirement.

What it does: The original rule required checking the clutch shaft plug installation (a mechanical component) according to Robinson Service Bulletin No. 16 within 25 flight hours after January 1982. This cancellation means the inspection is no longer mandatory as of 7 May 2009. Owners do not need to comply with the previous inspection requirement anymore.
