This cancels the earlier aviation safety directive that required inspection of life‑limited rotating parts in Pratt & Whitney PW4000 turbine engines.
The inspection requirements haven’t been removed but were superseded by AD/PW4000/11 Amendment 1; aircraft operators, maintenance teams, and engineers on affected Boeing and Airbus types must follow the newer directive to avoid regulatory confusion.
