AD/PT6T/6 - Fuel Pump Coupling - Replacement - CANCELLED

This document cancels a previous aircraft safety rule that required specific maintenance on helicopter engines.

• Aircraft owners had to replace fuel pump couplings on Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6T series turbine engines (used in many helicopters)
• The work had to follow the manufacturer's Service Bulletin No. 5184
• The deadline was January 1981

• Cancels the previous safety directive effective 2 July 2009
• Removes the legal requirement to perform that specific maintenance
• The Civil Aviation Safety Authority decided the safety risk no longer exists, so the rule is unnecessary
