AD/PT6A/15 - Reversing Linkage Front End Clevis - Incorporation of Inspection Hole

This AD requires owners/operators of certain Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-27 and -28 engines (with the solid‑link propeller reversing option and pre‑PC‑E40168 serials, excluding PC‑E40153 and PC‑E40162) to add an inspection hole to the reversing‑linkage front‑end clevis so crews can visually check for cracks, corrosion, or wear without disassembly.

The modification must be done within 100 flight hours after 31 Oct 1974, following UAC Service Bulletins No. 166 or 1119 (or the prior AD).

Applicability: PT6A-27, -28 engines incorporating solid link propeller reversing option prior to engine S/N PC-E40168 except S/N PC-E40153 and 40162.

Document: 1. UACL SB No. 166;

2. UACL SB No. 1119, or

3. AD/UAC-T/21.

Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 31 October 1974.
