Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of Percival Proctor Mk I–III aircraft not already modified by the specified Proctor mods to carry out periodic safety inspections of the outer wing rib-to-aileron-false-spar attachment and, where faulty gluing or joint failure is found, to strengthen the attachment using the approved modification or alternative documents.

Inspections repeat every 12 months or 100 flight hours (whichever first); owners bear inspection and repair costs and must use qualified maintenance organisations to comply.
