It affects owners/operators of R184/4-30-4/50, R193/4-30-4/50 and related variants. For R184 units the hub must be modified by 1 January 1969 if it had >2,500 hours on 30 July 1968, or before reaching 2,500 total hours if below that mark then. For R193 variants the hub must be modified before reinstallation after the next overhaul following 30 July 1968, per Dowty Rotol Mod No. VP 2486.
