Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD covers specific Dowty Rotol propellers on SAAB 340A/B and requires operators to carry out the work in Dowty Service Bulletins SF340-61-A42 Rev 6 and SF340-61-61 Rev 4.

Operators must perform the inspections and corrective actions in SF340-61-A42 Rev 6 immediately and repeatedly until SF340-61-61 Rev 4 is incorporated at the next propeller overhaul, which then terminates the AD; costs fall to operators/propeller owners.
