Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD makes compliance with Dowty Rotol Mandatory Service Bulletin 61‑A1021 Revision 10 compulsory for specific variable‑pitch propellers (certain R354 and R375 models). It affects owners, operators and maintenance organisations who must carry out the bulletin’s inspections, life‑limits, repairs or replacements. The AD follows the manufacturer’s changes—longer service life for some beta‑tube parts and added models—which alters maintenance timing, costs and parts demand while imposing regulatory enforcement and record‑keeping.
