Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of specified Transavia PL‑12 and PL‑12U aeroplanes to inspect and ultimately reinforce the lower landing‑gear pivot lug identified by serial numbers. Until the permanent reinforcement is fitted (per Transavia SB No.25 or a CASA‑approved alternative), operators must do daily visual checks and more detailed inspections at intervals not exceeding 75 flight hours. Operators pay for and carry out the work; reinforcement ends the recurring inspections and CASA must approve any alternative repair.
