Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

What it does: Requires owners/operators of specific McCauley propellers (model 1A103/TCM/6958, serials 770001–777390, and BC-001 up to JA001) originally fitted to Cessna 152 variants to have the hub inspected and reworked following McCauley Service Bulletin 169B. Applies to propellers with 1,200+ hours or unknown history and must be done at the next inspection for issue of a Maintenance Release after 30 June 1989. Owners/operators must arrange and fund the work. The change responds to in‑flight blade separations and expands inspection to hub bolt holes.
