Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority has issued an immediate airworthiness directive banning cold‑straightening of all Sensenich fixed‑pitch metal propeller blades at any point closer than 20 inches from the blade tip.

It applies to aircraft owners/operators and maintenance providers, removing that in‑field repair option forthwith and likely increasing reliance on alternative repairs or replacements and associated costs.
