This Airworthiness Directive mandates safety inspections for specific propellers on De Havilland DH114 aircraft.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of De Havilland DH114 aircraft fitted with PD136/212/1, PD170/212/1, or PD175/212/1 variable pitch propellers.

What it requires: Operators must conduct inspections of these "bracket type" propellers in accordance with the procedures specified in Hawker Siddeley Heron TNS No. 26, Revision 8 (a technical service bulletin).

Why it exists: To ensure airworthiness and safety by identifying potential defects or wear in these specific propeller models before they cause operational failures.

This is a brief, technical directive that delegates detailed compliance requirements to an external engineering standard.
