AD/PC-6/40 - Electric Trim Actuator Attachment Bracket - CANCELLED

This document cancels an earlier aviation safety rule about electric trim actuator attachment brackets on Pilatus Porter PC-6 aircraft.

What it does:

Revokes (cancels) Airworthiness Directive AD/PC-6/40 effective 4 August 2005
The safety requirements previously in this directive are now located in a different directive: AD/PC-6/51 Amendment 1

Who it affects:

Owners and operators of Pilatus Porter PC-6 series aeroplanes
Maintenance organisations working on these aircraft

Why it matters: This is administrative housekeeping. The safety rules haven't disappeared—they've been consolidated into another directive to avoid duplication. Aircraft owners should check AD/PC-6/51 Amdt 1 to ensure compliance with the electric trim actuator bracket requirements.
