Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires operators and owners of Pilatus PC‑6/A aeroplanes (serials prior to 592) to have the engine mount modified per Pilatus Service Bulletin No. 51. Compliance is mandated when the affected aircraft next has its engine changed after 15 April 1966.

The AD delegates technical detail to the service bulletin and does not specify who pays, enforcement, or alternative methods; practical cost, parts and downtime must be determined from SB No. 51.
