Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Pilatus PC-12 and PC-12/45 aeroplanes (MSN 101–301) to inspect engine torque oil pressure and Py pressure tubes/pipes for chafing or distortion, replace any defective parts, and adjust clearances per Pilatus Service Bulletin No. 71‑004 (22 Dec 1999). The AD responds to abrasive damage found on three aircraft and must be completed within 10 days or 25 flight hours, so operators bear the inspection, maintenance and parts‑replacement costs and must schedule the work promptly.
