What this does This document officially cancels a previous aircraft safety rule for Piper PA-46 Malibu aeroplanes.

What used to be required The original directive (issued in 1984) mandated a one-time replacement of the fuel supply line and modification of a wing rib, to be completed within 100 hours of flight time after November 1984. This work had to follow the manufacturer's Service Bulletin No. 792.

What happens now As of 9 April 2009, aircraft owners and operators no longer need to perform these specific modifications to comply with Australian aviation safety regulations. The maintenance requirement is completely removed.
