AD/PA-36/8 Amdt 1 - Forward and Aft Wing Attachment Fittings - Inspection and Modification

This amendment requires owners/operators of Piper PA‑36 (Pawnee Brave) aircraft with serial numbers 36‑736003 to 36‑7560044 (except those fitted with Piper Kit Part No. 760 933) to inspect—and, if needed, modify—the forward and aft wing attachment fittings following the instructions in Piper Service Bulletin No. 471A. Inspections must be repeated at intervals not exceeding 500 hours time in service. The rule creates a recurring maintenance obligation for affected operators and may impose inspection and repair costs to maintain airworthiness.
