Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This CASA Airworthiness Directive applies to all Piper PA‑34 (Seneca) aircraft and mandates owners address a safety defect in the rudder bar assembly. It requires inspection at 100‑hour intervals until a permanent modification per Piper Service Letter No. 671 is completed, which must be done by the aircraft’s first major inspection after 31 December 1973. This prevents potential loss of directional control.
