Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

Requires owners/operators of specified Piper PA-32 variants fitted with FACET/Puralator P/N 638873 engine air filters to inspect and, if necessary, replace those filters. Inspections are due at the next filter inspection or within 25 flight hours and then every 25 hours; installed units must be replaced within 12 months and spare filters must be replaced before installation. Installing an approved non‑FACET filter terminates the directive. CASA (the delegate) enforces the AD; owners/operators bear the compliance costs and any operational downtime.
