This document cancels a previous aviation safety rule that applied to Piper PA-32 (Cherokee Six) aircraft.

Originally, this rule required aircraft owners to install a manual circuit breaker (a safety switch) on the pitch trim electrical system to prevent potential failures. The deadline for compliance was within 100 flight hours after January 1979.

As of 25 September 2008, this requirement is completely scrapped and no longer applies to any aircraft.
