Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners/operators of certain Piper PA‑32 (Cherokee Six) aircraft with specified serial-number ranges must inspect the fuel tanks for defects: do an initial inspection within 100 flight hours after Oct 6, 1967, and repeat every 100 hours thereafter.

Repeats can cease only if the aircraft meets the conditions of Piper Service Bulletin No. 251. This prevents leaks, engine failure, or fire and preserves airworthiness.
