Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners/operators of specified Piper PA-32-260 and PA-32-300 aircraft with a rocker-type pitch trim switch on the pilot’s control wheel must modify the switch per Piper Service Bulletin No. 332 within 200 flight hours after July 30, 1971. The change prevents unintended "runaway" pitch trim that can cause sudden nose-up/nose-down upset and loss of control.
