Owners/operators of Piper PA-30 aeroplanes (unless fitted with Piper Kit 760 368) must change the Vmc placard to read exactly: “MINIMUM SINGLE ENGINE CONTROL SPEED 80 Kts. IAS.” This prescriptive update applies to affected aircraft cockpit placarding.

The placard may be replaced or revised with lettering at least as large as the existing placard, may be performed and certified by the pilot or owner, and must be completed before the aircraft’s next flight after 26 November 1969. Costs and burden are minimal.
