Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners and operators of Piper PA‑30 and PA‑39 Twin Comanches must remove and inspect the left and right stabilator attachment bolts for corrosion, doing the first inspection within 100 flight hours after 31 January 1975 if not already done, and repeating every three months until the bolts are replaced per Piper Service Letter No. 667.

This prevents bolt corrosion that could lead to stabilator failure and loss of aircraft control.
