This Airworthiness Directive (AD) is a mandatory safety order requiring owners of specific Piper Arrow aircraft to inspect and modify a hose assembly.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of:

Piper PA-28R-201 aircraft with serial numbers between 28R-7837105 and 28R-7837317
Piper PA-28R-201T aircraft with serial numbers between 28R-7803154 and 28R-7803372

What you must do: Inspect and modify the aircraft's hose assembly according to the technical instructions in Piper Service Bulletin No. 611 (a manufacturer-issued repair guide).

Deadline: Within 10 hours of flight time after 13 December 1978. ('Time in service' means the total time the aircraft spends operating in actual flight.)

Why it matters: The directive addresses potential safety defects in the hose assembly that could compromise aircraft systems. Compliance is mandatory to keep the aircraft legally airworthy and safe to fly.
