Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Piper PA-25, PA-25-235 and PA-25-260 aircraft fitted with Puralator (FACET) air filter P/N 638873 to inspect those filters and replace them with an approved filter if necessary. It sets short re‑inspection intervals and a deadline for replacing installed and spare filters; replacing the specified FACET filter with an approved alternative ends the AD’s requirements. Who pays: the aircraft owner/operator. Who enforces the rule: the CASA delegate under CAR subregulation 39.1(1).
