AD/PA-25/30 - Primary Control Cable Turnbuckles - Inspection - CANCELLED

What this document does

This officially cancels a previous safety rule (Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-25/30) that required owners of Piper PA-25 Pawnee aircraft to inspect the turnbuckles (adjustable tensioning devices) on their primary flight control cables.

Background

The original directive required inspections in accordance with manufacturer service bulletin Piper SB No. 328, with compliance due within 100 hours of flight time after March 1971. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority has now determined this specific safety requirement is no longer necessary.
