AD/PA-25/13 - Fuel Line - Modification - CANCELLED

This document cancels an old aviation safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive) that applied to specific agricultural aircraft.

What was the old rule? The previous directive required owners of Piper PA-25 Pawnee aeroplanes to replace the flexible fuel line between the fuel filter and carburettor with a fire-resistant hose assembly. This was a unique Australian requirement (not based on the manufacturer's guidance) that had to be completed before September 1971.

What does this document do? It formally cancels that requirement effective 20 November 2008, because the compliance deadline passed over 37 years ago and the safety rule is now obsolete.
