The backstory: This document formally scraps Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-25/11, which was a uniquely Australian requirement for Piper PA-25 Pawnee aircraft (crop-dusting planes used in agriculture). The original rule forced operators to modify the "hopper dump" system — the mechanism that releases chemicals or seeds — to meet specific safety standards under the old Air Navigation Orders.
