AD/PA-23/72 - Auto Pilot Servo Bridle Clamp Bolt Torque - Modification - CANCELLED

What this document does: This officially cancels a previous aviation safety rule (Airworthiness Directive AD/PA-23/72) that required owners of specific Piper aircraft to modify the autopilot system.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Piper PA-23 Apache and Aztec series aircraft.

Why it matters: The original rule required a one-time fix to the autopilot servo bridle clamp bolt to ensure safety. Since all affected aircraft have now completed this modification (as of February 2009), the rule is no longer needed and has been cancelled. This removes the compliance obligation from aircraft operators.
