Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of Piper PA-23, PA-23-235 and PA-23-250 aeroplanes (unless fitted with landing gear selector lever P/N 761‑213) to inspect landing‑gear selector lever P/N 752‑303 for cracks around its two right‑angle bends every 100 hours and to avoid re‑taping warning‑light wiring across that area. It matters because it addresses potential selector‑lever failure risk, creates a recurring inspection burden (or a one‑time replacement alternative), and points operators to Piper Service Bulletin No. 635 for further guidance.
