Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive mandates installation of a stabilator bungee on specified Piper PA‑23‑250 aircraft (listed by serial number) by following Piper Service Bulletin No. 345, with work to be completed before 28 April 1972. It binds the listed owners/operators to a narrow, time‑limited technical modification (costs, parts and downtime borne by them) and relies on the referenced service bulletin for implementation details; the AD itself gives no safety rationale or cost/enforcement specifics.
