AD/PA-23/23 - Rudder Tab Horn Bolt - Replacement - CANCELLED

This document cancels an old aircraft safety rule that required owners of Piper PA-23 Apache and Aztec aeroplanes to replace a specific bolt in the rudder assembly (the "rudder tab horn bolt").

What it does The original safety directive (based on a 1960 manufacturer service bulletin) required a one-time replacement of a bolt for flight safety reasons. Because all affected aircraft would have completed this modification decades ago, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority has cancelled the rule as redundant.
