AD/PA-22/28 - Automatic Pilot Roll Servo Shear Pin - Installation - CANCELLED

What this does: This document officially cancels a previous safety rule (Airworthiness Directive) that applied to Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer and Colt aircraft.

The cancelled rule: The original directive required owners to modify their autopilot roll servo shear pins according to specific manufacturer technical bulletins (Piper Service Letter No. 695 or Edo-Aire Mitchell Service Letter ML38) within a set timeframe starting September 1974.

Why it matters: The safety risk that originally required this modification no longer exists, so the Civil Aviation Safety Authority has removed the requirement. Owners of these aircraft are no longer obligated to make this specific autopilot modification.
