AD/P68/8 - Fuel Filter Bowl - Replacement - CANCELLED

What this does: This document cancels a previous safety rule (Airworthiness Directive P68/8) that required owners of Partenavia P68 series aircraft to replace the fuel filter bowl.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Partenavia P68 aeroplanes.

Why it matters: Previously, you had to replace the fuel filter bowl once, following the manufacturer's Service Bulletin No. 30B, within 100 hours of flying time after February 1978. That requirement is now gone. As of 28 August 2008, you no longer need to perform this specific replacement to comply with Australian law, though you should still follow general aircraft maintenance standards.
