Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of specified Partenavia P68 aeroplanes (P68 Observer 2 serials 401–413; P68C serial 402 — and a broader line saying all P68 up to serial 413) to inspect the forward stabilator/control‑column linkage following VulcanAir Service Bulletin No.111 Rev 1. It was issued because of reports of an incorrectly installed connecting‑rod/control‑column bolt, a missing nut and interference in the forward control lever assembly; operators must carry out the inspections within the AD’s stated timeframes to keep the aircraft airworthy.
