Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive for Partenavia P68 series aeroplanes (up to S/N 394, excluding S/N 391) requires repeated inspections of engine and propeller control cables every 25 flight hours starting within 25 hours after 11 Jan 1995, and mandatory cable replacement by 11 Jan 1996, following Partenavia Mandatory Service Bulletin 81 Revision 1. Issued after a propeller control cable failure, Amendment 1 shortens the interim inspection interval. Operators/owners bear the inspection and replacement costs and must follow the service bulletin to comply.
