Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of Partenavia P68 series aeroplanes to perform recurring inspections of the control wheel shaft universal joint — the link between the pilot’s control wheel and steering — because a reported failure could impair control. Older, unmodified aircraft must be inspected more frequently until they receive the modification kit; modified aircraft remain on a longer inspection interval.
