| Background: | AD/P68/9 mandated removal of switch NOR 7.345-1 and replacement by 7.345-1/M in accordance with SB No. 33. AD/P68/17 superseded AD/P68/9 and mandated installation of switch 7.345-4 in accordance with SB No. 46. This latter switch proved to be electrically inadequate so in 1980 AD/P68/17 was amended to mandate removal and replacement with 7.345-1/M or an approved alternative. In 1982 Partenavia issued SB No. 55 superseding SB Nos 33 and 46 and specifying a new switch 7.2345D-1. The Italian RAI mandated SB No. 55 in AD 82-206. A review of AD/P68/17 Amdt 1 in 2008 determined that it should be amended to match the Italian AD. |
