Commonwealth legislation
This directive requires operators using Scott Aviation oxygen connectors P/N 289-56 and 289-56-1 (and certain Scott constant-flow masks fitted with those connectors) to carry out the corrective work shown in Scott Aviation Service Bulletin 289-35-10 within 30 days after 30 April 1986. The stated purpose is to prevent blockage of oxygen flow caused by incompletely drilled connectors. Owners or operators must arrange and bear the cost of compliance and follow the manufacturer’s service instructions within the specified timeframe.
