Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires owners/operators of all FLS Aerospace Optica OA7 aircraft to inspect the 3/16‑inch ball joints in throttle and mixture linkages for wear and to replace them per FLS Mandatory Service Bulletin B2/SB/007 Issue 2. Inspections are at 50‑hour intervals until replacement, and replacement must be done by the next annual inspection. The AD follows a finding of an oversize drilled throttle arm; operators pay for parts, labour and downtime and must follow the manufacturer’s SB and record compliance.
