Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This mandatory Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Walter M337 and M332 piston engines to replace a potentially failing throttle-lever clamp screw with a 4 mm bolt and locking nut (either a steel stop nut or a castellated nut secured by a split pin). The modification — involving drilling and minor lever rework — must be done within 100 flight hours after 31 January 1975 to prevent throttle loss and ensure safe engine control.
