Requires operators of Bell OH‑58A (206A‑1) helicopters fitted with tail rotor blades P/N 206‑016‑201‑001, -103 or -107 to carry out the inspections and corrective actions set out in FAA AD 85‑26‑06 (paragraphs (a)–(f)) and related Bell service bulletins. Unless Part II of the service bulletin is completed, a 7‑day interval check applies. CASA made it effective 28 August 2008 to prevent loss of a tail rotor tip block that could cause rotor imbalance and separation of the tail rotor gearbox. Operators pay for and must schedule the inspections.
