AD/MU-2/7 - Front Seat Restraint Installations - Modification - CANCELLED

This document officially cancels an old aviation safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive) for Mitsubishi MU-2 aeroplanes.

What the old rule did: The original 1972 directive required installation of shoulder harnesses (upper torso restraints) in front seats of MU-2 aircraft certified before 1967.

What this does: As of 17 January 2008, this specific rule is cancelled and replaced by a general aircraft directive (AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1).

Who it affects: Aircraft owners and maintenance engineers should now follow the general directive rather than this model-specific one for seatbelt requirements.
