Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners/operators of specified Mitsubishi MU-2 serial-numbered variants must have the corrective work in Mitsubishi Service Bulletin No. 221 carried out on the tip‑tank wiring conduit within 100 hours TIS from 28 Feb 1994 (unless already done). It affects those owners/operators and the maintenance organisations that perform the work.

The action responds to reported conduit corrosion that could allow fuel into wiring. Owners bear the cost, downtime and paperwork; the AD mandates compliance while leaving technical repairs to the Service Bulletin and qualified maintainers.
