Plain English Summary

This directive requires owners/operators of certain Mitsubishi MU-2 aircraft to replace engine control pulleys (part MS20219-3) manufactured in 1975 by Tansey Co. or Arvan Inc. on specified MU-2 variants. Replacement must be done within 100 flight hours after 30 November 1983. It matters because the pulleys can crack, risking cable failure and loss of engine control, creating a serious safety hazard.
