Owners and operators of Mooney M20C, M20D and M20E aeroplanes with electrically operated landing gear must immediately modify the landing‑gear warning system per Mooney VB 20‑130. Maintenance organisations and certificated mechanics must carry out and record the work to that standard. Compliance is mandatory forthwith, creating immediate cost, downtime and administrative burden for owners and workload and certification responsibility for maintainers.
