Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This AD mandates replacing the flap quadrant cover and flap actuator switch on certain early-production Mooney M20C/E/F/G aircraft, as required by Mooney Service Bulletin M20-171.

Owners/operators of the affected serial-numbered aircraft must complete the replacements within 100 flight hours after 23 December 1969. It’s legally enforceable and corrects an unsafe flap-control condition that could impair flight safety.
