Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Learjet 60 aeroplanes serial numbers 60‑002 through 60‑189 to replace the brake valve lever stop switch and/or fit improved brake valve adjustment screws per Bombardier Service Bulletin 60‑32‑10 Revision 1. The work must be done before further flight if it has not already been completed. CASA’s delegate issued the AD to prevent valve bottoming that can cause total hydraulic fluid loss and consequent loss of normal braking; operators pay for parts and labour and must comply under CASR subregulation 39.1(1).
